This year’s wedding season is just getting started and there are some hot trends already starting to pop up all over the place. I have been keeping my eye out for the next hot trends in everything from wedding dress styles to honeymoon hot spots. Take a peek at 3 of the latest trends for weddings this year.
Going Green
This is the year where you trade white for green… just kidding! But, seriously, one hot trend this year is to go eco-friendly and be earth-conscious when you’re planning your wedding. Now, I know this sounds like it could take a lot of work but here are some easy ways to have a green wedding:
Hopping around the world for your honeymoon
Newlyweds are taking honeymoons to a whole new level this year! Once you have tied the knot, take a world-wide trip and hit all the major continents while on your romantic rendezvous. Some hot spots this year are the African region, the Green Isles, and Tahiti!
Guests Are Voting
I’m not sure if people have American Idol fever, or what, but this year one hot trend is to let your guests vote on some pretty important aspects of your wedding. How about a voters choice for the song during your first dance? Maybe, we’ll save that idea for the next bride, but how about an online poll on your wedding blog about the type of wine to serve? – now that’s a little more like it!
When I got married last summer I was one of the most critical brides to ever say "I DO" and now I want to share what I learned from the experience!
At CriticalBride.com I will share with you all the mistakes that caused headaches and the ways to deal with a near miss so that your wedding day will be simply full of bliss.
Take a look around... whether you're just starting out in the planning process or just a few weeks away from your big day, you'll find something for you, at the Critical Bride!

ohhh I love the going green idea, my wedding is in august and I just started looking for ways to make my wedding more eco friendly. I have a friend who is doing this too that is getting married. We found it pretty easy to work with vendors to find a green solution for our wedding.
Thanks for the tips!
